Do you find it hard to forgive people?
There are many reasons why people tend to hold on to resentment in the body. Some people believe it teaches the other person a lesson. Some believe it allows them to have healthy boundaries. Some hold on to the grudge because they think it will keep them aware of what the other person is capable of.
The truth is though holding on to resentment does nothing but poison your body. It locks a part of you in the past. In order to stay angry you have to hold on to all the reasons why you are angry.
You stay a victim, and because of the energy or beliefs you have to hold on to, you are more likely to attract the same situation again.
So is now the time to free yourself? To forgive not for the other person but to assist you?
